Content: Wiener index, the sum of all distances in a graph, is probably the most important topological descriptor. There are several papers establishing congruence relations for the Wiener index in various classes of graphs. We generalized the results of Lin and we obtained congruence relations for large families of graphs with a tree-like structure.
