Minisymposium: GRAPH IMBEDDINGS AND MAP SYMMETRIES
Content: Odin, a magnificent 13 ton steel sculpture is used as a case study of mathematical analysis of art. In particular, it shows the connection between geometry (circle packing) and topological graph theory (medial of a map). Recently a Symposium on Odin has been hosted by the Colgate University (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp-oVIdbyfA).
